Since 1998, Jason Bove has worked as a professional potter.   As a professional fine arts craftsman, Jason states his goal is to “create a body of work that is functional yet can stand alone as a piece of art”.  Jason’s work features individually hand-thrown pieces on a potter’s wheel.  The finishing touches, such as handles, knobs and spouts, are hand-pulled or thrown.  All of the glazes used by Jason are handmade and customized to his satisfaction.  The composition of his glaze is 50 percent wood-ash, which gives every piece of pottery a very unique finish. 

Currently, Jason exhibits his work from Michigan to Florida and has won numerous awards for his artwork, most recently, the American Founders Bank Woodland Art Fair 2007 Award for ceramics.

Jason has designed a collection of functional pottery, which will make the perfect gift or piece for your home.  All of Jason’s stoneware pottery is dishwasher, microwavable, and oven safe.
